Racers & Race Fans,
This weekend called for sunny skys and wicked fast bikes! Our saturday practice showed significant growth in participation. Majority of our sunday entries made an apperance both days. The weather on Saturday couldnt have been more perfect, just over 80 degrees from sun up to sun down. The day went well, no major incidents and the Masters Karting league sessioned nicely.
Sunday morning got off to a slow start. With the loss of an hour for Daylight savings a few folk showed up a bit later than planned. However, registration got rolling, tech inspection went well and the track was hot by 9:45. Our riders meeting covered a lot of information. For those of you who missed it, next Saturdays practice before our race will be Picture Day. We will also be delivering pins and member shirts so make a best effort to join us.
As for racing on Sunday, already the season pressure is high. With almost 20 entries in both our 80GP and Formula GP, over 10 entries in both our 50's and Amateur & Blata Cup classes we have seen significant growth from our Winter Race. Even our adult pocketbike classes are adding a few riders ever month.
Overall we had a very safe day. Racing compeition was intense and there were a lot of battles at the front of the pack. Points will be awarded to members and the results will be posted soon.
If anybody wants to submitt a review on any race please send it to Josiah Taulbee at info@scminigp.com, the information will be posted with the results.
Thanks and see you next month!
Regards,
SCminiGP Staff
